Fairview Estate was established in the early 1900s — since 1909 — making it one of Kenya’s oldest working coffee farms. Over more than a century, the estate has produced premium Arabica coffee using holistic farming methods that respect both the land and the communities around it. Today, Fairview Estate exports coffee to over 100 countries worldwide.
Sustainability is at the heart of Fairview Estate’s farming practices. The farm uses holistic production methods that take environmental concerns seriously — including responsible water use from the Riara River, natural soil management on our iron-rich volcanic soils, and farming approaches that protect the biodiversity of the surrounding highlands. We are committed to producing the world’s finest coffee in a way that respects the environment for future generations.
During the peak harvesting season, Fairview Estate employs over 200 coffee pickers. The estate is a significant source of livelihoods in the Kiambu region and has been a cornerstone of the local community for over a century.
